A barge is generally a non self-propelled vessel with a flat bottomed box shape, which is moored to the shore for the purpose of docking, loading and unloading passengers, and loading and unloading cargo; Floating dock;. And ship load is the most important type of load acting on the barge dock, which mainly includes mooring force, squeezing force, and impact force.The determination of mooring force plays a crucial role in the safety and stability of ships. 
The determination of the mooring force of the barge dock plays a direct decisive role in the stability and safety of the barge dock. There are many factors that affect the mooring force of a barge dock. Based on an example of a barge dock, the finite element analysis software MIDAS was applied to analyze and calculate the main influencing factors of the mooring force of the barge dock. It was found that the influencing factors of the barge dock mainly include water level, water flow, wind load, and ship factors. The rules of factors affecting the mooring force of the barge dock were summarized. Through the study of the factors affecting the mooring force of barge docks, a basis has been provided for the design and application of barge docks, which has certain guiding significance for the stability and safety of barge dock engineering design.
